How much does a mobile app cost in Morocco?

From 20,000 to 250,000 MAD depending on scope. The difference between an MVP and a full application, what the back end costs, and the fees nobody announces.

Between 20,000 and 250,000 MAD excluding VAT. The range is wide because "mobile app" describes two very different projects: a single journey published on the stores, or a complete system with a back end, several roles and integrations.

Two formats, two budgets

  • MVP — 20,000 to 50,000 MAD. One role, one journey, published on the stores. Built to meet real users before investing further.
  • Full application — 50,000 to 250,000 MAD. Back end included, several roles, integrations with your existing systems.

Our rates are published: see the pricing page.

The item people always underestimate: the back end

A mobile app is almost never only a mobile app. As soon as there are user accounts, data shared between devices, or content you want to change without republishing, you need a server, a database, authentication and an admin interface. That invisible part routinely accounts for half the budget — and it is what decides whether the application can evolve.

A mobile app quote that does not mention the back end is describing an animated mockup, not a product.

One codebase or two?

iOS and Android can be built separately (two codebases, twice the effort) or cross-platform, with a single codebase for both. For the large majority of business applications cross-platform is the right choice: the rendering is native, the cost is close to a single platform, and a fix is made once. Separate builds are justified mainly by very specific hardware needs.

The fees nobody announces

  • Developer accounts — Apple, around $99 a year; Google, a one-off registration fee. In your name: an app published under the provider’s account is a risk, not a saving.
  • Publication — store review takes time and can request changes. It is not a button.
  • Mandatory updates. Apple and Google change their requirements every year; an application left unmaintained is eventually removed. That is a recurring cost, not a surprise.
  • Push notifications, back-end hosting, third-party services (maps, SMS, payment) — metered, by usage.
  • Store listing content and visuals, which drive a good share of the install rate.

Do you actually need an app?

A fair question, and the answer is often no. If your need is consulted occasionally, a well-built website — installable on the home screen — costs far less and requires no store install. An application is justified when you need the hardware (camera, background GPS, offline reading), daily usage, or notifications that are genuinely part of the service.

We say so before the quote: see mobile applications, or website prices if the question is still open.

How long?

Six to ten weeks for an MVP in production, and three to six months for a full application with a back end and integrations. Store review is added at the end, and it belongs in the launch schedule rather than being discovered.
