How much does a website cost in Morocco? Real prices, by format

From 4,000 to 150,000 MAD depending on the format. The four budget reference points, what moves the price inside a range, and what quotes forget to count.

Between 4,000 and 150,000 MAD excluding VAT. The spread is not commercial vagueness: a landing page and an online store are not the same object. Here are the four reference points we publish, what moves the price inside a range, and the line items most quotes leave out.

The four formats and their budgets

  • Landing page — 4,000 to 8,000 MAD, 1 to 2 weeks. One page, one form, launched with conversion tracking. The right choice to validate an offer or support a campaign.
  • Essential showcase — 10,000 to 25,000 MAD, 2 to 4 weeks. Three to five pages, single language, content supplied by you.
  • Custom showcase — 20,000 to 45,000 MAD, 4 to 6 weeks. Dedicated design, multilingual, fully editable by your team.
  • E-commerce — 40,000 to 150,000 MAD, 6 to 10 weeks. Catalogue, cart, online payment, stock and order tracking.

These are our rates, published on our pricing page. Almost no Moroccan agency shows theirs; we prefer to, because it saves you three meetings to discover an order of magnitude.

The three factors that move the price

  • The number of languages. A bilingual site is not twice the price, but it doubles the content work and requires per-language URL architecture from day one. Adding it later costs more than planning it.
  • Selling online. Payment, stock, delivery and accounting are four distinct integrations. That is what separates a showcase site from a store — far more than the page count.
  • Who writes the content. If you supply text and photos, the project moves. If not, budget for copywriting: it is the first item forgotten and the real critical path on most projects.

What a quote often forgets to count

  • Hosting and the domain name — a few hundred dirhams a year, but in your name, not the provider’s.
  • Copywriting and photography — see above.
  • Maintenance. A site is not an inert deliverable: security patches, verified backups, updates. See maintenance and support.
  • Training on the admin interface, without which you will not update the site.
  • Redirects in a redesign — essential to keep the search equity you have earned, and consistently forgotten.

Why prices vary so much between agencies

Because two very different approaches share the same name. Adapting an existing theme is cheap and fast; building custom costs more and gives you a foundation that grows. Both are defensible — but a 3,000 MAD quote and a 30,000 MAD quote do not describe the same work, and the question to ask is not "why so expensive", it is "what is delivered, and who owns the code".

For our part we build in Angular with server-side rendering, showcase sites included: today’s site can host a client portal tomorrow without being rebuilt. Full offer: website design and development in Morocco.

How long until it is live?

One to two weeks for a landing page, two to four for an essential showcase, four to six custom, six to ten for e-commerce. In practice the timeline depends mostly on content approval: development rarely waits.
